This just in; Canadian Airline corporations are being sued and fined, as rumored, for continuing to fly the Boeing 737 Air max while knowingly being aware of continued current concerns with the jets and their safety to fly when all such jets have been grounded by their manufacturer and the FAA as of January 2024. There is a concern with public safety, staff safety and passenger safety. The airlines cannot fly over US airspace with these jets since entering US airspace would be to enter US territory and this would challenge the FAA order. The Canadian Airlines corporations are being fined significantly, brought to FAA hearings and possibly bought out by US carriers in the aftermath. They can lease other Boeing type jets that have not been grounded; a fuel cell powered Boeing 757 or fuel cell powered Boeing 747 that are cheaper on fuel. Click here.
